ATTRACTIONS

ATTRACTIONS IN BLACKPOOL

While the skyline may be dominated by Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach, the seafront provides loads of things to do and see.

3 PIERS

While most seaside resorts are happy with 1 pier, Blackpool goes bigger and better with 3!

The North, Central and South piers are all free to explore and take in the view of the prom. The North Pier has it's very own train to take you up and down. Take a spin on the Big Wheel or ride the Dodgems on the Central pier. The South Pier is home to the Laughing Donkey family bar with  great free live entertainment as well as a beer garden with the best views in town.

SEALIFE CENTRE

Blackpool's SEALIFE Centre gives you the chance to see what is going on below the waves on our shores and those around the world. Take a fascinating and fun journey into the ocean depths through 10 themed zones and don't miss the amazing Ocean Tunnel.

Get interactive at the Rockpool experience, then marvel at the Stingray tank. Discover the diverse creatures who live in our rainforests. Don't miss out on feeding times when the keepers will teach you more about the amazing creatures in their care.

MADAME TUSSAUDS

Blackpool is lucky enough to be home to one of the world famous waxwork exhibits from Madame Tussauds. You can pose with royalty, celebrities or even super heroes.
These amazingly lifelike reproductions include Dr Who, Captain Marvel, Hulk and Spiderman. There is a Strictly Come Dancing section with Tess and Claudia, or pop into the Rovers Return for a pint with Bet Lynch and the Duckworths.
There are also comedy favourites to pose with from Ken Dodd and the Two Ronnies, right up to date with Alan Carr and John Bishop.

AMUSEMENT ARCADES

No visit to the seaside is complete without a trip to the arcade. Pretend you are taking part in Tipping Point when you play the tuppeny sliders. Incredibly addictive because of course just another go will surely tip them over the edge!

The 2 big arcades on the sea front are Coral Island, a pirate themed centre with games, rides, adult gaming and award winning Fish & Chips! The other is Funland, an arcade with small kids' rides, bingo, concessions & many coin-operated games.
